Ten Ways to Increase Customer Loyalty

Building that base of initial customers is hard. So why would you walk away from them once you have established those relationships. At the same time it is important to keep a slow trickle of good customers coming through the door.

  1. Say thank you
  2. Make it easy to be a customer.
  3. Reward and recognize longevity.
  4. Personalize and customize.
  5. Ask them what they want.
  6. Divide and conquer.
  7. Market to the lifecycle stage.
  8. Friends and family (and colleagues too).
  9. Turn customers into stakeholders.
  10. Manage the relationship enterprise-wide.
